We will incorporate experiences to support the transition to school through play based learning opportunities. Encouraging children’s participation in group games and experiences, and continued support with lunch box choices, children master the art of opening and eating their own lunch. Open communication between parents and our Early Childhood Teacher ensures that the transition process is positive and effective.
Children are supported to develop the ability to plan and sequence tasks, to organise the necessary items and to develop physical control that is required to carry out daily tasks. Our Educators will encourage and motivate children to succeed when faced with challenges.
Social development strategies help children learn and enjoy friendships with their peers. With support Kindergarten children will begin to understand expectations, setting rules and the rights of others. They will contribute to projects, cooperate with others and negotiate roles and relationships in play and group experiences.
Open from 6.30am till 6.00pm,
Monday to Friday.
We acknowledge that the land on which we teach, learn, play and grow is the traditional land of the Quandamooka People. Always was, always will be.
